  Our state is home to some of the largest-antlered, biggest-bodied elk in the nation.

The elk hunting opportunity is high-quality and offers an outstanding success rate.  But don’t take it from us— here is what our hunters have to say about their experience.

I was at the county fair with my family when I got the call from the Pennsylvania Game Commission.  I couldn't believe it.  Not only did I draw a PA elk tag, but it was a bull tag!  I involved my family as much as possible and we all had a blast. It was the experience of a lifetime.

An easy online application, $10.90 entry fee (all going towards the elk conservation and management program) and your name will be entered in the lottery.  You can also apply in person at any license vendor. Winners are announced on August 18th at the Elk Expo.  Good luck!
